- 1 cup finely chopped nuts (such as pistachios or almonds)

- 1/2 cup sugar

2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll out one portion into a thin sheet on a lightly floured surface.

4. Brush the rolled dough with rosewater and sprinkle half of the chopped nuts evenly over the surface.

5. Carefully roll the dough into a log, starting from one end. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and nuts.

6. Cut the logs into small bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch in length, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

7. Bake the Mafruka in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.

9. Remove the Mafruka from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. While still warm, toss the pieces in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.

10. Allow the Mafruka to cool completely before serving. They can be stored in an airtight container for several days.
