- 2 cups crushed graham crackers

- 1/2 cup melted butter

- 3 packages (600g) cream cheese

- 1 cup sugar

- 3 eggs

- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

- Grated lemon zest (optional)

- Lemon sauce (optional)


Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F).

2. In a bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers and melted butter to form the crust. Press the mixture into the bottom of a cake pan.

3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

4. Add the sugar and continue beating until the sugar is dissolved and well combined with the cream cheese.

5. Add the eggs and continue beating until the mixture is well blended.

6. Add the lemon juice and grated lemon zest to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.

7. Pour the mixture over the crust in the cake pan.

8. Bake the cheesecake in the ovenfor about 45 to 55 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden.

9. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely, then refrigerate it for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) before serving.
