Chocolate Hazelnut Tart Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pre-made tart crust (or you can make your own crust)
200g dark chocolate, chopped
100g hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
200ml heavy cream
50g unsalted butter
2 tablespoons sugar
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
If using a pre-made tart crust, follow the instructions for blind baking or pre-baking the crust. If you are
making your own tart crust, prepare and bake it according to your chosen recipe.
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat.
Add the chopped dark chocolate and butter to the hot cream. Let it sit for a minute to allow the heat to
melt the chocolate and butter. Then, stir until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
Add the sugar and a pinch of salt to the chocolate mixture. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Sprinkle the chopped toasted hazelnuts onto the bottom of the pre-baked tart crust.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the hazelnuts, spreading it evenly.
Place the tart in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate filling is set.
Once the tart is firm, remove it from the refrigerator. You can garnish it with additional chopped
hazelnuts or a dusting of cocoa powder, if desired.
Serve the chocolate hazelnut tart at room temperature. It can be enjoyed as is or with a dollop of
whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
